Iarla McGowan


Iarla was born and raised in Donegal. In 2011 he was nominated for Best Performance at the Off West-End Awards for his portrayal of Mojo (and many other characters) in the critically acclaimed production of Owen McCafferty's modern Irish classic, "Mojo Mickybo." His other recent theatre credits include "Richard III," "The Playboy of the Western World," "A Skull in Connemara," and "Macbeth." Recent TV work includes significant roles in "Law and Order: UK," and Darlow Smithson's, "I Shouldn't Be Alive." "Common People" marks his first major role in a feature film.
